Accountants and Auditors - A bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field is the minimum requirement for most accounting jobs.
Advertising, Marketing, Promotions, Public Relations, and Sales Managers
Bookkeeping, Accounting, and Auditing Clerks - Bookkeepers, accounting clerks, and auditing clerks are required to have at least an associate’s degree in business or accounting. Familiarity with accounting software and spreadsheet software is extremely beneficial.
Budget Analysts
Financial Analysts & Personal Financial Advisors - Financial analysts are required to have a bachelor’s degree. Many employers prefer a graduate degree. Personal financial advisors are not required to have a college degree, but it is preferred. College coursework in mathematics, statistics, accounting, and financial analysis are also beneficial.
Financial Managers
Human resource & training managers - Entry-level positions require a bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or labor relations. Graduate degrees are often preferred for higher management positions.
Office and Administrative Support Supervisors and Managers - Most supervisory and managerial positions are filled by office and administrative support staff. Those employees who demonstrate knowledge and expertise, loyalty, dependability, leadership skills, and communication skills are more likely to be promoted to these positions.
