Do you or I Need a College Degree To Earn Good Money?

Do I Need a College Degree to Earn Good Money? Maybe Yes, Maybe No!

First it depends on what you want to do to earn a living. Some jobs will require a college degree, while others won't. Some jobs that require a college degree don't pay that much money, while skilled trades may pay a lot more. Of course Doctors, Lawyers, CPA's, etc... require at least one or more degrees and usually pay pretty well.

But will all people who go to a traditional college earn more money? Probably not. It really depends, some people with the right skills and experience can earn a very nice income without ever attending a traditional college. These people may go to a career school to learn skilled trades allowing them to earn a nice living and start making money sometimes years before a person going to a more traditional college. A lot of people go to a career school that may only take a few months or a year or two to complete. Some may end up with certification of some sort, while others will earn a degree.

Start first with want you are interested in doing for a living? Does it require a college degree? Research career options and talk with school counselors to find out if a traditional college or career school would be a better option for your interests.
